Carson Clough
Carson Clough is a Charlotte-based Paralympic triathlete whose drive and determination have propelled him onto the world stage. A silver medalist in the men’s PTS4 event at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris, Carson has quickly become one of the most inspiring athletes in the sport, earning multiple podium finishes in international competitions since beginning his triathlon journey in 2022.
His path to the Paralympics began after a life-changing boating accident that led to the amputation of his right leg. A challenge he transformed into motivation to push limits and redefine what’s possible.
Outside athletics, Carson is energetic, creative, and community-oriented. He helped launch Giddy Coffee, enjoys surfing, karaoke nights with friends, and exploring new places with his pup, Calder. His story is a powerful mix of resilience, joy, and heart. Through Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte, Carson is embracing a new kind of challenge. One that lets him share his story beyond sport and show that strength takes many forms.
